An Interesting Journey ...
I live on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Australia with my 6 children and their many different pets. I feel my current role is to assist others to find passion in purpose and overcome trauma by sharing my own messy, imperfect, authentic self and offering products and services that I truly believe in.
In the past I've been a victim of child sexual abuse, teacher abuse, domestic violence, strangling and multiple rapes. Having gone from a silver spoon lifestyle to bankruptcy and all in between, I'm able to relate to many different backgrounds and societal status. With my children, as a family we have travelled to all States and Territories of Australia with some overseas destinations including Europe and Hawaii.
In the process of adventure, I found an inner strength and resilience to live the life I always wanted, regardless of budget and society's expectations. I am continually letting go of and healing the patterns of the past and understand this will be a lifelong journey.
Trained for decades in Natural Health and Metaphysical studies, I was able to self-heal from severe panic disorder and PTSD as well as physical ailments such as IBS
and eczema. My body is built a little differently and I'm physically unable to tolerate regular pharmaceuticals without strange side effects, so had to find another way to deal with dis-ease. Instead, I leaned in on aromatherapy, nutrition and energy healing as a way to address the conditions and also focus on a preventative healthy lifestyle.
My parents owned a printing business my whole childhood and I've always worked in and loved the world of business. Starting my career in legal and moving to medical and hospital and then co-creating a Steiner School, my experience is extensive. Having worked for others and for myself, I've found I was always attracting extremely talented people who needed help getting their message out into the world and so now I love to share and shout out when I find talented people and their products and services.
I am self-employed in multiple and various areas, including Business Consultant, Funnel Builder, Natural Therapist & Author … and I absolutely love it!
Most of all my journey has been about family, adventures and health. Not a day goes by that I am not truly thankful from the bottom of my heart for being blessed with the experience of being a mother and witnessing others grow and change over time.

The Full 'Career' Story Expanded and how Karen became the woman she is today ...
Starting in the family business, Karen was collating books from a very early age and remembers being instilled with a great work ethic and continually kept it going even through adversity and challenges later in life. She also remembers working in her Aunty's fish and chip shop and seeing how hard they worked for little return and eating a lot of their profits!
At the age of 15, Karen was employed with her first 'real' job as a Legal Secretary. A whiz on the computers, she was hired for her quick typing skills and ability to fix their software issues easily. At home she was studying by correspondence Nutrition and Fitness. When her friends went off to Uni, she decided to join them and studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tuina Massage. Her passion for natural therapies was deep by this stage, and she continued into the realm of becoming an Advanced Liquid Crystal Practitioner (Vibrational Healer) and studied Small Business Management.
She also had a love for Aromatherapy since she was sick in her teens and it had helped on an emotional level as well as a physical one. This love turned into a few different business opportunities over the years with multiple brands, and seeing others have such profound results as well was always eye opening and wonderful.
Joining the emotional and mental realms was essential to keeping the passion flame burning. Karen was also a natural psychic and was beginning to use these talents more and more in her work. She was also a Medical Receptionist as a 'day job', delivered pamphlets and cleaned accommodation and for the elderly. She moved to the Hospital administration system and worked in each ward to get a comprehensive understanding of how it all came together and helped with the setup of the Elective Surgery Administration Process.
At this point her kids were thoroughly enjoying a steiner Kindergarten and she became President and initiated the creation of the Wild Cherry Steiner School which is still growing strong to this day.
When she returned to the city, she worked as an executive assistant for a millionaire property investor and speaker from the stage. She went through numerous trainings with him on selling, speaking and coaching, which sparked her interest again in creating courses and working in the world of business.
Back in the country Intertwined Family Health was born and consisted of a wellness centre with over 10 Practitioners, Sauna, Salt Room, Workshops and an Organic Fruit and Veg Shop. Later she would also open a small High Country Day Spa, Blissful Boutique, with a Mediation Salt Room, Beauty Therapies, Massage and Aromatherapy.
Unable to stay still, she tried living on an island in QLD with no car, she used to ride her bike to work in the day spa and perform beauty treatments for guests at the resort and spend the other part of the day whale watching from a private beach and going to sleep to the sound of waves.
Studying has always occurred on the side, a love of learning is hilarious considering never finishing high school yet going on to complete a Masters in Metaphysical Science, Diploma in Naturopathy and Diploma in Aromatherapy.
Working on a television pilot was definitely an unexpected turn of events when she started as a personal assistant and grew into the behind the scenes of an eccentric drama/documentary which never got picked up yet was an experience nonetheless!
Travelling around Australia, her family attempted the travel blogger path with a travel membership company and studying to be a travel agent. This was a lot harder than anticipated but was the most fun at the same time, as they all spent quality time together whilst seeing the beautiful country!
Working alongside a hairdresser in a seaside location, she offered Psychic Surgery Sessions and Massage before the lockdowns sent us all home and into another 'learning mode'. This is when the world of funnels and website building was first introduced and then after a year of practice and deep diving Funnel Builders of Oz was born which then led to the Coaching side with Idea 2 Income to assist others to get their ideas out into the world.
An avid cook and lover of sweets treats, Cheap Healthy Meal Plans was created and Karen became an author. It is currently being relaunched in it's 2.0 CHMP version due to the current increase in food costs globally and the importance of meal planning to reduce grocery expenses.
A few year ago, Karen joined Alchemical Worx, a workers co-operative with it's purpose to earn together and own together, a legacy business that offers a Production House where the artists and creators share in the profits.
After a heartbreaking turn of events and the letting go of painful relationships and birthing children, Karen wrote a whole album, as she always found songwriting to be so healing. Having started recording the songs of the album 'Willow' with the band Mystical Extremities ... it's a slow process ... there is no idea on how long it will take!

There aren't a lot of ways to work 1:1 with Karen, as she spends a lot of her time in creation mode of online courses and authoring books.
In saying that, there are still ways to work directly with her. She offers Psychic Surgery Online Sessions to a small group of people from around the globe, one day a week. Under her list of services, you can be added to the waiting list and will be contacted when she next has an availability.
Her biggest passion is supporting small business solopreneurs who want to take an idea and turn it into an income. She directly works with 1-2 individuals at a time to give a truly personal touch with online weekly consulting sessions.
